New INSPIRE Geoportal Metadata Validator

New INSPIRE Geoportal Metadata Validator has been released.
This validator replaces the former "schematron validator"http://inspire-geoportal.ec.europa.eu/validator/ and implements the same validation criteria applied during the INSPIRE Geoportal discovery process.

Geoportal: Fixed validation error in the "What's new" Atom feeds

Fixed bug preventing the validation of the Atom feeds reporting the changes made to the different sections of the Geoportal.

Added titles to the entries of the "What's new" Atom feed of the Metadata Validator.

Added "What's new" page and feed to all the pages of the Geoportal

Each page of the INSPIRE Geoportal now carries a "What's new" link in its upper right corner, showing the list of relevant changes made to the corresponding service (discovery/viewer, metadata editor, metadata validator).

The INSPIRE Geoportal has been released. It provides a single access point to EU geospatial information through its discovery and view service.

The list of changes is also provided as a Web feed (Atom), which allows subscribed users to be automatically informed about any update.
