Rivers and Streams network within State forests.



Data concerning Hydrography. Data originated from the Water Development

Department include:

1. River Basins as defined by EU Water Framework Directive 2000/60/EC.

2. River Basin subdivisions' as defined by EU Water Framework Directive

2000/60/EC.

3. Lake Water Bodies (Natural Lakes) of Cyprus as defined for the implementation

of the Water Framework Directive 2000/60/EC.

4. Impounded river Water Bodies (Water Reservoirs) of Cyprus as defined for the

implementatin of the Water Framework Directive 2000/60/EC.

5. River water bodies resulted from the reviewing and updating of Article 5 of

Directive 2000/60/EC.
