INSPIRE Land cover (lcv) - Iceland
Land Cover (LC) is one of 12 themes in the European Location Project (ELF).
The purpose of ELF is to create harmonised cross-border, cross-theme, and cross-resolution pan-European reference data from national contributions. The goal is to provide INSPIRE-compliant data for Europe.

The dataset is migrated from"Copernicus Land - corine land cover Iceland "clc12_is", which is at the scale 1:100.000. The dataset includes in three layers: polygons, points and lines.
The processing steps: Feature mapping from the national datamodel to the INSPIRE datamodel. A python program build to migrate the national data according to the feature mapping.
Maintenance information:
unknown. The Corine Land Cover database for Iceland will most likely be updated in 2018.
