This data set is based on a data set that was created in 1995 from Ordnance Survey large scale raster mapping and reviewed every year using the most up-to-date available ortho photos. It is reviewed and updated every year to reflect changes identified from previous years using a mix of farmer supplied maps, ortho photographs, satellite imagery and field inspection.
