INSPIRE Künstliches hydrogeologisches Objekt

Der Datensatz basiert auf den Inhalten der Hydrogeologischen Karte von Österreich 1:500.000. Der Punktlayer beinhaltet Brunnen und Brunnenfelder ab einer Fördermenge von 0,3 mio m³/a. Es handelt sich um Brunnen/Brunnenfelder zur zentralen Wasserversorgung, Brunnen/Brunnenfelder welche artesisch gespannte Grundwasserhorizonte erschließen, sowie Punkte zu Mineral- und Thermalwasservorkommen, welche auf Grund ihrer Ergiebigkeit, Nutzung oder geologischen Position von besonderer Bedeutung sind.

Statement: Die Datenbasis liefert die Hydrogeologische Karte von Österreich 1:500000, erstellt im Jahr 2003 (Schubert et al.). Die hydrogeologischen und wasserwirtschaftlichen Inhalte sind das Ergebnis umfangreicher Literaturrecherchen. Ziel war es, eine damals aktuelle und leicht verständliche Übersicht zu den hydrogeologischen Verhältnissen in Österreich zu vermitteln. Wie es bei dem Versuch zur Darstellung komplexer Verhältnisse häufig der Fall ist, können auch hier die lokalen Gegebenheiten von der vereinfachten Darstellung im Datensatz abweichen.
