[INSPIRE] Habitats distribution for Directive 92/43
They are habitats in a 10 km by 10 km grid as defined at European level, the center of the grid is determined by software and field work is carried out every 6 years by assignment in order to determine the habitat types. A relevant Report to the EU is prepared every six years.

The data were collected in the framework of the project of monitoring the conservation status of species and habitat types (under supervision of Ministry for Environment and Energy). The project was implemented with field sampling data during the period 2013-2018 and based on bibliographic reports. The methodology followed was different for each species and is described in the deliverables of the project.The dataset and the relevant network services are INSPIRE compliant. The harmonisation was performed by the Directorate for Geospatial Information (Ministry for Environment and Energy).
