INSPIRE - Annex II Theme Orthoimagery - OrthoimageCoverage 2025 Winter
This layer contains the official orthophoto resulting from the 2025 aerial winter survey with a ground resolution of <= 10 cm per pixel (GSD). The absolute planimetric accuracy of the orthophoto can be indicated with a Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) <= 20 cm. The overcoverage is <= 15% in the municipal territory of the City of Luxembourg and <= 25% outside of this area. The orthophoto covers the territory of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg with an overflow of at least 50 m beyond the state boundary. The aerial surveys were conducted with a solar elevation of >= 30° on February 1, 3, 17, 18 and 19 2025.
Due to storage constraint, the raster image is made available in Luxembourg national projection (EPSG:2169) rather than European projection (EPSG:3035).
The raster in JP2 format can be downloaded from the URL provided in the INSPIRE GML under rangeSet/File/FileReference node or from the 'Source dataset' link in metadata information.
