Opplysninger om status tillatelse, samt fiskeart, type produksjon, kapasitet og formål inngår. Det vises også flater som er områder i sjø hvor det er gitt tillatelse til å drive med akvakulturvirksomhet. Flatene er tegnet basert på lokalitetenes klarerte ytterpunkt registrert i Fiskeridirektoratets akvakulturregister. Det er ikke alltid fisk eller skjell ved lokalitetene- dette kan sjekkes ved å se på Biomasse- ja/nei tema. Biomasse- ja/nei er basert på rapporter som viser opplysninger fra lokaliteten siste dag i hver måned. I tillegg er det informasjon om slettede/ nedlagte lokaliteter. Det har vært gitt tillatelse til akvakulturvirksomhet på lokalitetene på et tidspunkt, men tillatelsen er trukket tilbake og per dags dato er det ikke godkjent til bruk for akvakulturvirksomhet. De vises med status "TT" -Trukket tilbake, og dato for "ikke lenger gyldig". The Aquaculture locations WFS dataset shows the approximate centre point of all aquaculture sites in Norway. It includes information on the license status, as well as fish species, production type, capacity and purpose. Boundaries representing sea areas where permits have been granted to pursue aquaculture activities are also shown. The areas are drawn on the basis of the registered outer points of the locations recorded in the Aquaculture register of the Norwegian Directorate of Fisheries. Fish and shellfish are not always to be found at the locations: this can be checked by looking at Biomass – yes/no. Biomass – yes/no is based on reports showing information from the locations on the last day of every month. There is also information on discontinued sites. Permission has been given for aquaculture activities at the locations at one time, but this permission has since been withdrawn and aquaculture activity is currently not approved. This is indicated with the status "TT" (withdrawn) and the date the license status changed. The dataset has been built up over time, and older locations that are no longer approved may include innacuracies or errors. There is a reporting deadline for biomass data (if fish are present at the location) of the 7th of the following month. This dataset is updated daily to show the latest information from reports from fish farmers.
