Orthophotos are digital aerial photographs in which the systematic distortions caused by the central projection, terrain relief and an image acquisition axis that is not always perfectly vertical have been corrected. The national orthophoto coverage is renewed annually.

This view service makes it possible to visualise the national orthophoto mosaics for multiple acquisition campaigns from 2016 onwards for the entire territory of Belgium. A separate layer is published for each available year. In the current version of the service, the series of yearly layers runs from 2016 up to and including 2023, with 2023 being the most recent orthophoto coverage in this view service.

For the 2016–2021 campaigns, the orthophotos have a spatial resolution of 25 cm throughout Belgium. From the 2022 campaign onwards, the resolution is 25 cm in Wallonia and 15 cm in Flanders and the Brussels-Capital Region. The view service is directly based on the orthophoto datasets of the Belgian administrative Regions, which are harmonised by NGI into a single national coverage without applying additional radiometric corrections.

The orthophoto coverage is provided through this Web Map Service (WMS) and is intended for visualisation and use as a background map. For downloading the most recent orthophoto mosaics, reference is made to the associated dataset and download service “Orthophoto”.

Les orthophotos sont des photographies aériennes numériques dans lesquelles les déformations systématiques dues à la projection centrale, au relief et à un axe de prise de vue qui n’est pas toujours parfaitement vertical sont corrigées. La couverture orthophotographique nationale est renouvelée chaque année.

Ce service de visualisation permet d’afficher les mosaïques orthophotographiques nationales issues de plusieurs campagnes d’acquisition à partir de 2016 pour l’ensemble du territoire belge. Pour chaque année disponible, une couche distincte est publiée. Dans la version actuelle du service, la série de couches annuelles s’étend de 2016 à 2023 inclus, 2023 représentant la couverture orthophotographique la plus récente dans ce service de visualisation.

Pour les campagnes 2016–2021, les orthophotos ont une résolution spatiale de 25 cm sur l’ensemble de la Belgique. À partir de la campagne 2022, la résolution est de 25 cm en Wallonie et de 15 cm en Flandre et dans la Région de Bruxelles-Capitale. Ce service de visualisation est directement basé sur les jeux de données orthophotographiques des Régions administratives belges, que l’IGN harmonise en une couverture nationale unique, sans appliquer de corrections radiométriques supplémentaires.

La couverture orthophotographique est diffusée via ce service de carte Web (WMS) et est destinée à la visualisation et à l’utilisation comme carte de fond. Pour le téléchargement des mosaïques orthophotographiques les plus récentes, il convient de se référer à l’ensemble de données et au service de téléchargement "Orthophoto" associés.

Orthofoto’s zijn digitale luchtfoto’s waarop de systematische vervormingen die te wijten zijn aan de centrale projectie, het reliëf en de niet altijd perfect verticale opname-as zijn gecorrigeerd. De nationale orthofotobedekking wordt jaarlijks vernieuwd.

Deze raadpleegdienst maakt het mogelijk de nationale orthofotomozaïeken voor meerdere opnamecampagnes vanaf 2016 te visualiseren voor het volledige Belgische grondgebied. Voor elk beschikbaar jaar wordt een afzonderlijke laag gepubliceerd. In de huidige versie van de service loopt de reeks jaarlagen van 2016 tot en met 2023, waarbij 2023 de meest recente orthofotobedekking in deze viewservice is.

De orthofoto’s hebben voor de campagnes 2016–2021 een ruimtelijke resolutie van 25 cm in heel België. Vanaf de campagne 2022 bedraagt de resolutie 25 cm in Wallonië en 15 cm in Vlaanderen en het Brussels Hoofdstedelijk Gewest. De viewservice is rechtstreeks gebaseerd op de orthofotodatasets van de Belgische administratieve regio’s, die door het NGI tot één nationale dekking worden geharmoniseerd, zonder bijkomende radiometrische correcties.

De orthofotobedekking wordt via deze webmapservice (WMS) ontsloten en is bedoeld voor visualisatie en gebruik als achtergrondkaart. Voor het downloaden van de meest recente orthofotomozaïeken wordt verwezen naar de bijhorende dataset en downloadservice “Orthofoto”.

Orthofotos sind digitale Luftbilder, bei denen die systematischen Verzerrungen infolge der Zentralprojektion, des Reliefs und einer Aufnahmeachse, die nicht immer perfekt vertikal ist, korrigiert wurden. Die nationale Orthofotoabdeckung wird jährlich erneuert.

Dieser Darstellungsdienst ermöglicht die Visualisierung der nationalen Orthofotomosaike aus mehreren Befliegungskampagnen ab 2016 für das gesamte belgische Staatsgebiet. Für jedes verfügbare Jahr wird eine eigene Ebene bereitgestellt. In der aktuellen Version des Dienstes reicht die Reihe der Jahresebenen von 2016 bis einschließlich 2023, wobei 2023 die aktuellste Orthofotoabdeckung in diesem Darstellungsdienst ist.

Für die Kampagnen 2016–2021 haben die Orthofotos eine räumliche Auflösung von 25 cm im gesamten belgischen Staatsgebiet. Ab der Kampagne 2022 beträgt die Auflösung 25 cm in Wallonien und 15 cm in Flandern und in der Region Brüssel-Hauptstadt. Der Darstellungsdienst basiert direkt auf den Orthofoto-Datensätzen der belgischen Verwaltungsregionen, die vom NGI zu einer einheitlichen nationalen Abdeckung harmonisiert werden, ohne zusätzliche radiometrische Korrekturen anzuwenden.

Die Orthofotoabdeckung wird über diesen Web Map Service (WMS) bereitgestellt und ist für die Visualisierung und Nutzung als Hintergrundkarte vorgesehen. Für das Herunterladen der aktuellsten Orthofotomosaike wird auf den zugehörigen Datensatz und den Downloaddienst "Orthofoto“ verwiesen.
