Podaci „Gospodarska podjela šuma šumoposjednika – Područja upravljanja šumama " su prilagođeni INSPIRE temi "Područja upravljanja/ zaštićena područja/uređena područja i jedinice za izvješćivanje".

Prema Zakonu o šumama gospodarska jedinica dio je šumskogospodarskoga područja koja je, u pravilu, prilagođena konfiguraciji terena, organizacijskim potrebama gospodarenja šumama i prometnicama, a obuhvaća jedan ili više šumskih predjela za koju se, kao zaokruženu gospodarsku cjelinu, posebno izrađuje šumskogospodarski plan.

Gospodarska jedinica dijeli se na odjele i odsjeke a granice područja gospodarskih jedinica mogu se mijenjati u postupku obnove te redovne ili izvanredne revizije šumskogospodarskog plana uz odobrenje ministarstva nadležnog za poslove šumarstva.

Sloj prikazuje granice područja gospodarskih jedinica u kojima se nalaze šume šumoposjednika (privatne šume).

Odsjek je najmanja promjenjiva jedinica gospodarske podjele šuma i šumskih zemljišta unutar odjela s kojom se posebno gospodari kao sastojinom. Sastojine se izlučuju u odsjeke prema namjeni šume, uzgojnom obliku, načinu gospodarenja, stadiju razvitka, vrsti drveća, starosti, cilju gospodarenja, omjeru smjese i obrastu. Svakih 10 godina prilikom revizije šumskogospodarskih planova gospodarenja granice odsjeka se mogu mijenjati prema stanju sastojina.

Osim ovih podataka uz određene uvjete za svaki odsjek je moguće dobiti dodatne opise za preko 50 atributa kao što su: opis sastojine, vrste drveća koje se nalaze u odsjeku s omjerom smjese, masa sastojine po vrstama drveća, visine drveća, starost sastojine, ophodnja odsjeka, sklop sastojine, namjena šume i dr.

Podaci o položaju prikazani su u Hrvatskom terestričkom referentnom sustavu 1996 Transvers Merkatorove projekcije (HTRS96/TM).

The data "Economic division of forests by forest owners - Forest management areas" are adapted to the INSPIRE theme "Area management/restriction/regulation zones and reporting units".

According to the Law on Forests, an economic unit is part of a forest management area which, as a rule, is adapted to the configuration of the terrain, the organizational needs of forest management and roads, and includes one or more forest areas for which, as a rounded economic unit, a forest management plan is specially prepared.

The economic unit is divided into departments and sections, and the borders of the area of the economic units can be changed in the process of renewal and regular or extraordinary revision of the forest management plan with the approval of the ministry responsible for forestry affairs.

The layer shows the boundaries of the areas of the economic units in which the forest owners' forests (private forests) are located.

The section is the smallest variable unit of the economic division of forests and forest lands within the section, which is managed separately as a stand. Stands are divided into sections according to the purpose of the forest, cultivation form, method of management, stage of development, type of trees, age, goal of management, mixture ratio and vegetation. Every 10 years, during the revision of forest management plans, the boundaries of the sections can be changed according to the condition of the stands.

In addition to this data, with certain conditions for each section, it is possible to obtain additional descriptions for over 50 attributes such as: description of the stand, types of trees found in the section with mixture ratio, mass of the stand by tree species, tree heights, age of the stand, patrol of the section , structure of the stand, purpose of the forest, etc.

Data is in the Croatian Terrestrial Reference System 1996 Transverse Mercator Projection (HTRS96/TM).
