INSPIRE Priority Data Set (Compliant) - Alien species distribution
An invasive species is a non-native plant, animal, or fungal species, subspecies, or lower taxon introduced outside its natural range, whose establishment or spread poses a threat or has a negative impact on biodiversity, ecosystems, the economy, or human health. It is strictly prohibited to keep, breed, grow, propagate, sell, use, exchange, transport, or release invasive species into the environment. Data from the Invasive Species Information System (INVA) consist of records of occurrences of invasive plant and animal species. The data has been harmonized according to INSPIRE.
More information about invasive spieces in Lithuania and the list of invasive species can be found in the INVA system at https://inva.biip.lt/.
