The dataset contains: a. The zones and agglomerations for the monitoring of the ambient air quality. The country has been divided into 2 zones (north and south country) and two agglomerations (Athens and Thessaloniki). The pollutants mapping was made using background maps of scale 1:100000. b. The National Air Quality Monitoring Network. The dataset regards the position of all the stations and the relevant measurements of air pollutants. The whole monitoring and the report are undertaken by the Ministry for Environment and Energy.The dataset and the relevant network services are INSPIRE compliant. The harmonisation was performed by the Directorate for Geospatial Information (Ministry for Environment and Energy).
