Podaci „Granice u ribolovnom moru Republike Hrvatske" su prilagođeni INSPIRE temi "Područja upravljanja/ zaštićena područja/uređena područja i jedinice za izvješćivanje".

Zakonom o morskom ribarstvu određeno je radi potrebe provedbe mjera upravljanja biološkim bogatstvima mora i prikupljanja potrebnih podataka donese Pravilnik o granicama u ribolovnom moru Republike Hrvatske. Ribolovno more je morski prostor nad kojim Republika Hrvatska ima suverenitet, odnosno suverena prava i jurisdikciju u skladu s međunarodnim pravom, a sastoji se od unutrašnjega ribolovnog mora koji obuhvaća unutrašnje morske vode i vanjskoga ribolovnog mora koje obuhvaća područje teritorijalnog mora Republike Hrvatske, te od isključivog gospodarskog pojasa. Ribolovno more se sastoji od jedanaest ribolovnih zona, koje se dalje dijele na ukupno četrdeset podzona. Sloj prikazuje granice ribolovnih zona i podzone te sadrži oznake za pojedinu zonu. Navedene podatke kreira, upravlja i objavljuje Ministarstvo poljoprivrede, šumarstva i ribarstva Republike Hrvatske, a dostupni podaci su slobodni za korištenje i nema ograničenja korištenja.

The Law on sea fisheries that, for the purpose of implementing measures to manage marine biological resources and collecting the necessary data, the Ordinance on the boundaries in the fishing sea of ​​the Republic of Croatia shall be adopted. The fishing sea is a sea area over which the Republic of Croatia has sovereignty, i.e. sovereign rights and jurisdiction in accordance with international law, and consists of the internal fishing sea, which includes internal sea waters, and the external fishing sea, which includes the area of ​​the territorial sea of ​​the Republic of Croatia, and of the exclusive economic zone. The fishing sea consists of eleven fishing zones, which are further divided into a total of forty subzones. The layer shows the boundaries of fishing zones and subzones and contains labels for each zone. The aforementioned data is created, managed and published by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of the Republic of Croatia, and the available data are free for use and there are no restrictions on use.

Izvorni materijali za izradu podataka o granicama u ribolovnom moru Republike Hrvatske temelje se na odredbama Pravilnika o granicama u ribolovnom moru Republike Hrvatske. On definira područja unutar ribolovnog mora Republike Hrvatske, uključujući granice ribolovnih zona i podzona, kao i granice ribolovnog mora u rijekama koje utječu u more. The original materials for creating data on the borders in the fishing sea of ​​the Republic of Croatia are based on the provisions of the Ordinance on the borders in the fishing sea of ​​the Republic of Croatia. It defines the areas within the fishing sea of ​​the Republic of Croatia, including the boundaries of fishing zones and subzones, as well as the boundaries of the fishing sea in rivers that flow into the sea. The data was collected through the analysis and interpretation of geographic coordinates and description of borders. This includes precise georeferencing of points and lines that define fishing zones and subzones. Quality control includes verifying the accuracy of boundaries in accordance with legal descriptions, ensuring that digital data faithfully reflects legally defined boundaries. The permitted data geometry includes polygons that represent the spatial extent of each fishing zone. Data processing includes the digitization of boundaries, enabling the visualization and analysis of fishing zones within the national fishing sea.
