Cadastre WMS

The Cadastre is Norway's official register of real property, including buildings, housing and addresses.

The service provides raster images of the Cadastre's map objects: Cadastral units with boundaries (property), building points, sefrak monuments, road addresses (possibly cadastral addresses). The WMS service also includes district with associated boundaries.

The Cadastre also has a register element that does not appear in Cadastre WMS.

Information registered in the Cadastre is given publicity (announced publicly).

Specific usage

Drawing rules:

This service provides cadastral numbers for plots.

Property boundaries may vary depending on which layer or "style" is selected: Property boundaries and boundary points in colours in accordance with classes for positioning accuracy, plus auxiliary lines with separate signature. Alternatively just single-coloured plot delimitation. The same for construction properties.

Plots with **filled in areas or not**or .

Alternative display of plots that have no links to a cadastral unit: plots that are water are drawn in blue, and plots on land are drawn in red.

Buildings as green circles plus building numbers, Sefrak buildings

Addresses as blue squares with address name and address number (possibly cadastral address number)

Districts with boundaries, numbers and names.



Code lists have to be "translated" using a separate service.
