Das Inventar der historischen Verkehrswege der Schweiz IVS enthält umfangreiche Informationen zum Verlauf der historischen Wege, ihrer Geschichte, ihrem Zustand und ihrer Bedeutung gemäss NHG. Das IVS besteht aus zwei Teilen: dem Bundesinventar und den weiteren historischen Verkehrswegen (Verordnung über das Bundesinventar der historischen Verkehrswege der Schweiz VIVS, Art. 3). Die Objekte von nationaler Bedeutung mit sichtbarer historischer Substanz bilden das rechtlich geschützte Bundesinventar. Objekte, die im historischen Kontext von nationaler Bedeutung sind, jedoch keine oder nur geringe bauliche Substanz aufweisen sind nicht Teil des Bundesinventars. Ebenfalls zum IVS, aber nicht zum Bundesinventar, gehören überdies zahlreiche Objekte, welche von den Kantonen als solche von regionaler oder lokaler Bedeutung bezeichnet werden. L’inventaire des voies de communication de la Suisse (IVS) offre une mine d’informations sur leur tracé, leur histoire, leur état et leur importance, conformément aux dispositions de la loi fédérale sur la protection de la nature et du paysage (LPN). L’IVS comprend deux parties : l’inventaire fédéral et les autres voies de communication historiques (ordonnance concernant l’inventaire fédéral des voies de communication historiques de la Suisse OIVS, art. 3). La première regroupe les objets d’importance nationale dotés d’une signification historique exceptionnelle. Les objets dont la valeur sur le plan de l’histoire nationale ne s’accompagne pas d’une portée architecturale véritablement remarquable ne font pas partie de l’inventaire fédéral. Relèvent également de cette seconde catégorie de nombreux objets dont l’importance régionale ou locale a été reconnue au niveau cantonal. L’inventario delle vie di comunicazione storiche della Svizzera IVS contiene ampie informazioni sul tracciato, la storia, lo stato e la valenza delle vie storiche ai sensi della legge federale sulla protezione della natura e del paesaggio (LPN). L’IVS è composto da due parti: una con l’inventario federale e l’altra con le restanti vie di comunicazione storiche. Gli oggetti d’importanza nazionale con evidente sostanza storica formano l’inventario federale; quelli d’importanza nazionale in relazione a un determinato contesto storico, ma privi o con poca sostanza edile, costituiscono l’altra componente delle vie di comunicazione storiche d’importanza nazionale. Questi ultimi fanno parte dell’IVS ma non dell’inventario federale, così come numerosi oggetti ai quali i Cantoni hanno attribuito un’importanza regionale o locale. The inventory of historical routes in Switzerland (IHR) contains comprehensive information about the course of the historical routes, their history, their condition and their importance in terms of the Natural Culture and Heritage Act (NCHA). The IHR consists of two parts: the federal inventory and the additional historical routes (Ordinance on the Federal Inventory of Historic Swiss Transport Routes (ITRO), Article 3). The objects of national importance with visible historic substance make up the legally protected federal inventory. Objects which are of national importance in a historical context but which have no or little structural substance are not included in the federal inventory. Numerous objects which have been designated by the cantons as being of regional or local importance also form part of the IHR but not of the federal inventory. Zweck But Finalità: Die Verordnung über das Bundesinventar der historischen Verkehrswege der Schweiz VIVS wurde am 14. April 2010 durch den Bundesrat beschlossen und auf den 1. Juli 2010 in Kraft gesetzt. Sie regelt verbindlich den Schutz der historischen Verkehrswege von nationaler Bedeutung.

Edictée par le Conseil fédéral le 14 avril 2010, l’ordonnance sur l’inventaire fédéral des voies de communication historiques de la Suisse (OIVS) est entrée en vigueur le 1er juillet 2010. Elle a force obligatoire en matière de protection des voies de communication historiques d’importance nationale.

L’ordinanza riguardante l’inventario federale delle vie di comunicazione storiche della Svizzera OIVS che disciplina la protezione delle vie di comunicazione storiche d’importanza nazionale è stata approvata il 14 aprile 2010 dal Consiglio federale ed è entrata in vigore il 1° luglio 2010.

L’inventaire fédéral est régulièrement mis à jour, notamment pour intégrer des éléments complémentaires ou des faits nouveaux. Il fait en outre l’objet d’un réexamen et d’une mise à jour complets tous les 25 ans.

L’inventario federale è esaminato e aggiornato a intervalli regolari, in particolare in presenza di nuove conoscenze e circostanze. L’esame e l’aggiornamento completi sono effettuati entro 25 anni.

Erläuterung Généralités sur la provenance Genealogia del dato – Processo di produzione: Die Wissenschaftlichen Grundlagen für das IVS, darunter das Bundesinventar, wurden in den Jahren 1983 bis 2003 erarbeitet und basieren auf einer Methodik, die sowohl mit Mitteln der Geographie als auch der Geschichtsforschung arbeitet. Als historische Verkehrswege gelten grundsätzlich nur Strassen- oder Wegverbindungen, die im Gelände als solche erkennbar sind, sei es aufgrund ihres traditionellen Erscheinungsbildes oder ihrer baulichen Substanz. Dazu kommen durch historische Dokumente belegte Verkehrswege, deren ursprünglicher Verlauf noch heute den Verlauf von Verkehrswegen bestimmt. Zur Erfassung wurden Karten, Texte und weitere Quellen zu Rate gezogen. Die nach ihrer historischen Bedeutung bewerteten Wege wurden in Geländebegehungen in ihrem genauen Verlauf, ihrem Zustand und ihren Wegeigenschaften auf Karten erfasst.

Les bases scientifiques de l’IVS, en particulier l’inventaire fédéral, ont été élaborées entre 1983 et 2003. Elles se fondent sur une méthodologie qui allie des informations géographiques à des ressources issues de la recherche historique. En principe, ne sont réputés voies de communication historiques que les routes ou chemins reconnaissables comme tels sur le terrain, que ce soit en raison de leur aspect ancien ou de leur aménagement. S’y ajoutent les voies de communication attestées par des documents historiques et ayant conservé leur fonction initiale grâce à leur tracé d’origine. Différentes sources, notamment des cartes et des textes, ont été consultées pour l’établissement de l’IVS. Grâce à des visites sur le terrain, les voies de communication, évaluées en fonction de leur importance historique, ont été intégrées dans des cartes qui en consignent le tracé exact, l’état et les particularités.

Le basi scientifiche dell’IVS, comprendente l’inventario federale, sono state elaborate tra il 1983 e il 2003 con un metodo che ha fatto riferimento sia alla geografia che alla ricerca storica. Si considerano vie di comunicazione storiche essenzialmente le strade o le vie di comunicazione riconoscibili in quanto tali sul terreno per il loro aspetto tradizionale o la loro sostanza edile. Vi si aggiungono le vie documentate da fonti storiche il cui tracciato originario coincide con quello delle vie di comunicazione odierne. Per il rilevamento sono state impiegate carte, testi e altre fonti; nel corso di un’approfondita analisi sul campo sono stati riportati su carte l’esatto tracciato, le condizioni e le caratteristiche delle vie di comunicazione classificate in base alla loro importanza storica.
