Neues, lokal gelagertes Bezugssystem der Schweizerischen Landesvermessung LV95, welches zukünftig als Grundlage für die Amtliche Vermessung eingeführt wird. CH1903+ verwendet die gleichen Ellipsoiddimensionen (Bessel 1841) wie CH1903. Die räumlichen Koordinatenachsen X,Y,Z werden direkt von CHTRS95 durch 3 Translationen abgeleitet. Das Kartenprojektionssystem (Swiss Grid) ist identisch zu CH1903. Als Ausgangspunkt für die Höhen dient der neue Fundamentalpunkt Z0 der Geostation Zimmerwald, dessen orthometrischer Wert H0 = 897.9063 so gewählt wurde, dass der "Repère Pierre du Niton" im Hafen von Genf genähert die orthometrische Höhe 373.6 m erhält.

Nouveau système de référence de la mensuration nationale suisse MN95 positionné localement et destiné à être introduit comme base future de la mensuration officielle. CH1903+ utilise les mêmes dimensions d'ellipsoïde (Bessel 1841) que CH1903. Les axes de coordonnées dans l'espace (X, Y, Z) sont directement déduits de CHTRS95 par trois translations. La projection cartographique (« Swiss Grid ») est identique à celle de CH1903. L'origine des altitudes est le nouveau point fondamental Z0 de la géostation Zimmerwald dont l'altitude orthométrique H0 = 897,9063 a été choisie de telle façon que l'altitude orthométrique du « Repère Pierre du Niton » dans la rade de Genève retrouve sa valeur de 373,6 m.

The new local reference system for the Swiss national survey LV95 which shall be introduced as the future basis for official cadastral surveying. CH1903+ uses the same ellipsoid (Bessel 1841) as CH1903. The spatial coordinate axes X,Y,Z are derived directly from CHTRS95 by translation (3 shifts). The map projection ("Swiss Grid") is identical to CH1903. The new fundamental point Z0 at Geostation Zimmerwald serves as the point of origin for the height. Its orthometric height was defined as H0 = 897.9063 m, so that for the "Repère Pierre du Niton" in Geneva the value of 373.6 m is obtained.
