Région de Bruxelles-Capitale : La zone sensible à l'eutrophisation est un périmètre de protection contre la pollution des eaux de surface par les eaux résiduaires urbaines. Cette zone correspond au bassin versant de la Senne. Dans cette zone, les eaux résiduaires urbaines (eaux usées) doivent être collectées et faire l'objet d'un traitement rigoureux avant leur rejet. Elle a été établie conformément aux prescriptions de la Directive européenne 91/271/CEE, par l'arrêté du Gouvernement de la Région de Bruxelles-Capitale du 23 mars 1994.

Brussels Hoofdstedelijk Gewest : Het gevoelig gebied aan eutrofiëring is een beschermd gebied tegen de verontreiniging van het oppervlaktewater door stedelijk afvalwater. Dit gebied overeenstemt met het bekken van de Zenne. In dit gebied moet het stedelijk afvalwater opgevangen worden en voor lozing behandelt worden. Het werd aangewezen conform aan de Europese Richtlijn 91/271/EEG, door het Besluit van de Brusselss Hoofdstedelijks Regering van 23 maart 1994.

Brussels-Capital Region: The sensitive area to eutrophication is a protected area against the pollution of surface waters caused by waste water. This area matches the Senne river basin. In this area, urban waste water has to be collected and are subject to a stringent treatment before their discharge. It was designated in accordance with the prescriptions of the European Directive 91/271/EEC, by the Regional Decree of 23 March 1994.
