LAPRO2009 - Agrarlandschaften

Die ausgewählten Gebiete repräsentieren in besonderem Maße die landschaftsgebundene Nutzungsentwicklung und bilden über zahlreiche Relikte die landwirtschaftliche Nutzungsgeschichte ab. Auch die aktuellen Nutzungen spiegeln noch die standörtlichen Bedingungen und das regionaltypische Erscheinungsbild der Nutzungsformen wider. Auf Grund der extensiven Nutzungen sind die dargestellten Agrarlandschaften auch von besonderem Interesse für den Arten- und Biotopschutz. s. Landschaftsprogramm Saarland, Kapitel 7.4.
