INSPIRE ATOM Download Service for the theme Administrative Units (AU)
Download Service provides pre-defined data for the INSPIRE theme Administrative Units (AU) according to the INSPIRE Directive using the ATOM technology. The service is publicly available and free-of-charge, covers the whole territory of the Czech Republic and enables downloading of predefined data file containing data for the whole country. Dataset is created daily (if any change occurs). Data is provided in the GML 3.2.1 format in the structure given by the INSPIRE specifications and XML schemes in the version 3.0. Dataset is compressed (ZIP) for downloading. The service fulfils the technical instructions for the implementation of INSPIRE Download Services in the version 3.1.

Service was created on the the Directive on construction of spatial data infrastructure in the European Community (INSPIRE), which is valid from 15 May 2007. Into national legislation in the Czech Republic, the Directive was transposed by the Act No. 380/2009 Coll., amending Act No. 123/1998 Coll., establishing the right to information on the environment, as subsequently amended, and Act No. 200/1994 Coll., on surveying and amending and supplementing certain acts related to its introduction, as amended. Full transposition was supplemented by Decree No. 103/2010 Coll., implementing certain provisions of the Act to provide environmental information.
