Dataset transformed in its entirety to the INSPIRE AU model (D2.8I5_v3.1). In the 1970s, the municipal boundaries of the Spanish national 1:50,000 map were transfered to the 1:5,000 topographic sheets of Gipuzkoa by means of a pantograph. Since the 1990s, the administrative boundaries are automatically updated regularly using the description of the official demarcations, the position of the municipal boundary stones, their relations and the geographical features of the topographic base.
