Corine Land Cover 2000
Within the framework of the CORINE programme the project Land Cover Romania, started in 2002 and was completed in 2004. The aims of the CLC2000 project was to update CORINE Land Cover inventory related to the 90’s (called CLC90) and to derive the CLC_Changes database, i.e. land cover changes between the 90’s and 2000.The information obtained within the project, as digitized land cover maps at 1:100 000 scale for whole territory of Romania represent a reference data set for spatial and territorial analysis for different territorial levels.
