Il set di dati è stato realizzato mediante esportazione, in formato TIFF con procedure in python in ambiente ESRI, alla scala 1:2.000 dei Database geotopografici DBGT 1k-2k-5k dei centri urbani e delle località abitate della Sardegna in formato vettoriale. I DBGT di dettaglio sono stati realizzati in lotti diversi mediante conversione dalle carte tecniche comunali numeriche o mediante restituzione aerofotogrammetrica. Le sezioni sono a colori e nel sistema di riferimento WGS84 UTM32N. Il dato vettoriale è scaricabile al seguente link: https://www.sardegnageoportale.it/index.php?xsl=2425&s=325563&v=2&c=14414&t=1&tb=14401. Per la copertura dei DBGT e per le date dei voli si consulti al suddetto link il file "Linee di separazione DBGT Comuni".
