Geodaten von swisstopo können als Kartendienst bezogen und für dynamische Webkarten eingesetzt werden. Der Dienst swisstopo geoservices WMTS eignet sich um eigene Points-of-Interest (POIs) / Standorte in einer Website auf einer Karte zu positionieren, er kann aber nicht in ein Desktop-GIS eingebunden werden. Der swisstopo geoservices WMTS umfasst Datensätze der Bundes-Geodateninfrastruktur BGDI inkl. gebührenpflichtige Daten der swisstopo.

Geodata from swisstopo can be acquired as map services to be used for dynamic web mapping. The service can be used for positioning own points of interest and locations on a map integrated into a website, but you cannot use this service in your Desktop GIS. swisstopo geoservices WMTS includes data from the Federal Spatial Data Infrastructure FSDI and swisstopo Data liable to charges.

Il servizio swisstopo geoservices WMTS permette di visualizzare in modo dinamico dati geografici su qualsiasi pagina web. Ulteriori dati di altra provenienza (come Points-of-Interest POI) posso essere visualizzati in sovraimpressione. Non si può utilizzarlo in un Desktop-GIS.

Le service swisstopo geoservices WMTS permet l'utilisation des géodonnées de swisstopo dans des pages web. Des données tierces peuvent ainsi être superposées sur une carte intégrée dans un site internet, par contre il ne peut être utilisé dans un SIG Desktop. Le swisstopo geoservices WMTS comprend les données de la Infrastructure fédérale de données géographiques IFDG y inclu les données payantes de swisstopo.
