Digital Elevation Model

DЕМ is a homogeneous and regular point grid indicating the elevation of the ground level in order to make a model of its surface. It is drawn up by interpolation (adaptable prediction) of raw altimetric data (contour lines, structure lines and spot heights).

Цифровият модел на релеф (DEM) е специализирана база данни, която показва формата на повърхността между точките на дадено ниво, съставена от интерполиране на височините на данните, получени от наземни изследвания и фотограметрично събиране на базата на правоъгълна симулационна мрежа.
