This dataset represents a snapshot taken in September 2016 for the purpose of the WFD RBMP Cycle 2.

Provision of Bathing Water Location designations by the Local Authorities (LA) of Ireland annually as part of the requirement for each LA to supply the EPA with a Bathing Water Profile for each bathing water in their areas to form the Register of Protected Areas under the Bathing Water Quality Act.
