The data set described here presents the geometry of the zones and agglomerations reported by the Member States since 2013, in accordance with the ambient air quality directives and successfully validated by the EEA's quality control system. The objects are represented by polygons. The National Monitoring System assesses the quality of the atmospheric air / QA / on the territory of the country, divided into regions for assessment and management. The boundaries of the regions are determined on the basis of the existing administrative-territorial division and covers the whole country. The assessment of air quality pursuant to Article 30 of Ordinance №7 / 97 for assessment and management of ambient air quality is performed through available data from the monitoring network or in the absence of such through additional actions for preliminary assessment of air quality. The system controls: - concentrations of the following atmospheric pollutants: dust, fine particulate matter, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, phenol, ammonia, sulfuric acid aerosols, nitric oxide, carbon monoxide, ozone, chlorine, hydrogen chloride, benzene, benzene, toluene , lead and arsenic aerosols, heavy metals; - meteorological parameters: wind speed and direction, atmospheric pressure, total solar radiation, humidity and air temperature.
