NVEs aktsomhetskart for jord- og flomskred viser potensielle utløpsområder for ulike typer løsmasseskred. Det omfatter ikke kvikkleireskred og grunne utglidninger i lave løsmasseskråninger, og ikke masseførende flom.



Aktsomhetskartet er basert på deldatasettene «jord- og flomskred» (2025) og «mellomstore flomskred» (2014).



Ved bruk av datasettet til analyseformål bør som hovedregel hele utløpsområdet vurderes. Utløpsområdet dekker alle areal hvor skredet fortsatt inneholder en viss andel fast materiale som kan avsettes. Dersom vanninnholdet i skredet er veldig høyt, kan den mest flytende delen av skredet i visse tilfeller nå enda lenger.
