Das Orthophotomosaik SWISSIMAGE (Hintergrund) ist eine Zusammensetzung von digitalen Farbluftbildern der Schweiz und seiner Umgebung. Bei den Orthofotos in den Nachbarländern handelt es sich um SPOT 5-Satellitenbilder (Airbus Defence and Space) aus den Jahren 2004 und 2005 mit einer Bodenauflösung von 5 m. Ein Orthofoto ist ein Luftbild bei dem Neigungseinflüsse der Kamera und des Geländes korrigiert wurden.

La mosaïque d'orthophotos SWISSIMAGE (Fond de plan) est un assemblage d'images numériques en couleurs de la Suisse et ses environs. Les orthophotos des pays voisins proviennent d'images satellite SPOT 5 (Airbus Defence and Space) acquises en 2004 et 2005 avec une résolution au sol de 5 m. Une orthophoto est une image aérienne dont les influences de l'inclinaison de la chambre de prise de vue et du relief du terrain sont neutralisées.

Le ortofoto dei paesi vicini provengono dalle immagini satellitari SPOT 5 (Airbus Defence and Space) acquisite nel 2004 e 2005 con una risoluzione al suolo di 5 m. Un'ortofoto è un'immagine aerea in cui le influenze dell'inclinazione della fotocamera e del terreno sono state corrette.

The Orthophotomosaic SWISSIMAGE (Background) is a composition of digital color aerial images of Switzerland and surroundings. The orthophotos of the neighboring countries come from SPOT 5 satellite images (Airbus Defence and Space) taken in 2004 and 2005 with a ground resolution of 5 m. An orthophoto is an aerial image in which the distortions created by the camera and the relief are corrected.
