Species distribution Marine Mammals (WMS)
Karttjenesten (WMS/WFS) inneholder generaliserte utbredelseskart av marine arter i norske områder. Kartene er inndelt i tre havområder: Barentshavet, Norskehavet og Nordsjøen/Skagerak. Kartene er så delt inn i temalag for de forskjellige artene. Eksempler for sjøpattedyr er utbredelse og kaste/hårfellingsområder. Disse temalagene varierer mellom artene.
Det er definert et gyldighetsområde for de fleste artsutbredelseskartene.
Noen av områdene er tidsavgrenset, gyldigheten er oppført i egenskapstabellen.
Artene har egne faglige kontaktpersoner. Disse står oppført i egenskapstabellene, samt på https://www.hi.no/hi/temasider/arter
