Das Orthophotomosaik SWISSIMAGE ist eine Zusammensetzung von gescannten analogen und digitalen, Schwarz-Weiss und farbigen Luftbildern. Ein Orthofoto ist ein Luftbild bei dem Neigungseinflüsse der Kamera und des Geländes korrigiert wurden. Standardmässig wird der aktuelle Stand vom Produkt SWISSIMAGE angezeigt. Mit der Anzeige von Daten-Zeitstände – genannt «Zeitreise» - lässt sich der Landschaftswandel von 1926 bis heute anhand dieser Bilder auf interaktive Weise erfahren.

La mosaïque d'orthophotos SWISSIMAGE est un assemblage d'images aériennes analogiques scannées et numériques, en noir et blanc et en couleurs. Une orthophoto est une image aérienne dont les influences de l'inclinaison de la chambre de prise de vue et du relief du terrain sont neutralisées. Par défaut, l'état actuel du produit SWISSIMAGE est affiché. Avec l'outil de représentation historique des données – nommé « voyage dans le temps » - l'évolution du paysage de 1926 à nos jours peut être perçue de manière interactive sur la base de ces images.

Il mosaico di ortofoto SWISSIMAGE è una composizione di immagini aeree analogiche scansionate e immagini digitali, in bianco e nero e a colori. Un'ortofoto è un'immagine aerea in cui le influenze dell'inclinazione della fotocamera e del terreno sono state corrette. Per default, viene visualizzato lo stato attuale del prodotto SWISSIMAGE. Con la visualizzazione storica dei dati – nominata «viaggio nel tempo» - l'evoluzione del paesaggio dal 1926 ad oggi può essere analizzata in maniera interattiva.

The Orthophotomosaic SWISSIMAGE is a composition of analogic and digital, black-and-white and colour aerial images. An orthophoto is an aerial image in which the distortions created by the camera and the relief are corrected. The default displays the current state of the product SWISSIMAGE. The representation of data time stamps – called «journey through time» - allows to interactively explore the evolution of the landscape from 1926 to the present day based on these images.
