Statement

The Network Management System was introduced in 2002. It contains metadata about the IMGW-PIB network of meteorological stations. The system contains information about the location of each station, installed instruments and measurement programs. Reports and protocols on all activities performed at the stations as well as photos and situational sketches for each point are entered. Reports are prepared on an ongoing basis by field teams, verified by the Measurement and Observation Service Departments and approved at the IMGW-PIB Main Center.
