Podaci „Gospodarska podjela šuma šumoposjednika - Gospodarska jedinica šuma " su prilagođeni INSPIRE temi "Područja upravljanja/ zaštićena područja/uređena područja i jedinice za izvješćivanje". Prema Zakonu o šumama gospodarska jedinica dio je šumskogospodarskoga područja koja je, u pravilu, prilagođena konfiguraciji terena, organizacijskim potrebama gospodarenja šumama i prometnicama, a obuhvaća jedan ili više šumskih predjela za koju se, kao zaokruženu gospodarsku cjelinu, posebno izrađuje šumskogospodarski plan. Gospodarska jedinica dijeli se na odjele i odsjeke, a granice područja gospodarskih jedinica mogu se mijenjati u postupku obnove te redovne ili izvanredne revizije šumskogospodarskog plana uz odobrenje ministarstva nadležnog za poslove šumarstva. Sloj prikazuje granice područja gospodarskih jedinica u kojima se nalaze šume šumoposjednika (privatne šume). Podaci o položaju prikazani su u Hrvatskom terestričkom referentnom sustavu 1996 (HTRS96/TM). Navedene podatke kreira, upravlja i objavljuje Ministarstvo poljoprivrede, šumarstva i ribarstva Republike Hrvatske.

The data "Economic division of forests by forest owners - Forest economic unit" are adapted to the INSPIRE theme " Area management/restriction/regulation zones and reporting units". According to the Law of Forests, a management unit is a part of a forest management area that is, as a rule, adapted to the configuration of the terrain, the organizational needs of forest management and roads, and includes one or more forest areas for which, as a complete economic unit, a forest management plan is specially prepared. The management unit is divided into departments and sections, and the boundaries of the areas of management units can be changed in the process of renewal and regular or extraordinary revision of the forest management plan with the approval of the ministry responsible for forestry. The layer shows the boundaries of the areas of management units in which forest owners' forests (private forests) are located. Position data are shown in the Croatian Terrestrial Reference System 1996 (HTRS96/TM). The aforementioned data are created, managed and published by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of the Republic of Croatia.

Izvorni materijali za izradu podataka o gospodarskoj podjeli šuma šumoposjednika temelje se na odredbama Zakona o šumama, koji uređuje sustav i način upravljanja, gospodarenja, korištenja i raspolaganja šumama i šumskim zemljištima u Republici Hrvatskoj. Uključuju šumskogospodarske planove i programe gospodarenja šumama. Svi prostorni podaci temelje se na katastarskim česticama. Metode obrade podataka uključuju izradu šumskogospodarskih planova i programa gospodarenja šumama, koji se temelje na prikupljenim podacima o stanju šuma i šumskih zemljišta. Dozvoljena geometrija podataka obuhvaća poligone koji predstavljaju prostorni obuhvat svake jedinice. Standardi prikupljanja podataka definirani su zakonskim odredbama koje propisuju način upravljanja i gospodarenja šumama.

The source materials for the production of data on the economic division of forests of forest owners are based on the provisions of the Law of forests, which regulates the system and method of management, administration, use and disposal of forests and forest lands in the Republic of Croatia. They include forest management plans and forest management programs. All spatial data are based on cadastral plots. Data processing methods include the production of forest management plans and forest management programs, which are based on collected data on the state of forests and forest lands. The permitted data geometry includes polygons that represent the spatial coverage of each unit. Data collection standards are defined by legal provisions that prescribe the method of forest management and administration.
