Natura 2000-Gebiete Landkreis Rotenburg (Wümme)
Natura 2000 / FFH-Gebiete / EU-Vogelschutzgebiete Die FFH-Richtlinie wurde 1992 vom Rat der Europäischen Gemeinschaft erlassen. Das Kürzel "FFH" steht für Fauna = Tierwelt, Flora = Pflanzenwelt und Habitat = Lebensraum bestimmter Pflanzen- und Tierarten. Die FFH-Richtlinie verfolgt das Ziel, die biologische Vielfalt in Europa zu erhalten. Dies soll durch den Aufbau eines europaweiten vernetzten Schutzgebietssystems mit der Bezeichnung Natura 2000 geschehen, um natürliche und naturnahe Lebensräume sowie bestandsgefährdete wildlebende Tiere und Pflanzen zu sichern, zu erhalten und ggfs. zu entwickeln.
