The dataset of the ITHACA (ITaly HAzard from CApable faults) project is built on a fault database, where all available information on Italian active tectonic structures are stored. It takes into account active tectonic processes that may be capable of generating natural hazards. All faults that can produce surface deformations are stored in the database. The main attributes are: the type of kinematics, the type of fault and the geo-environmental evidence.
