Il dataset è stato realizzato ubicando i porti e le marine sulla base dell' Ortofoto Agea 2011.Sono stati utilizzati come base di partenza:- carta nautica 1:100.000 n°37 dell'IIM­ dataset Ispra: Porti, tematismo puntuale ricavato dalle informazioni del Portolano.Il database è stato compilato utilizzando le informazioni ricavate dal volume "PORTI REGIONALI. Quaderni del Servizio Pianificazione dei T rasporti e Logistica. 6."
