Il grafo stradale del FVG è strutturato geometricamente da una serie di archi e nodi. È stato realizzato a cura del Servizio Infrastrutture di Trasporto e Comunicazione della regione FVG sulla base del grafo già prodotto nell’ambito del progetto TrIM (Trasporto Infrastrutture Monitoraggio) e del grafo DbPrior (database che contiene gli strati informativi territoriali prioritari individuati in un ambito di Intesa interregionale), integrato con le informazioni provenienti da altre fonti quali il grafo Visum utilizzato dai funzionari regionali per analizzare i flussi di traffico, il grafo TeleAtlas MultiNet, le Ortofoto, gli assi stradali presenti nei file di aggiornamento della Carta Tecnica Regionale Numerica e il grafo Openstreetmap.
