Idrogeologia - Carta dei complessi idrogeologici 1:100.000

Le formazioni geologiche affioranti nella Regione Piemonte sono state distinte in tre grandi categorie in base al tipo di permeabilità: rocce permeabili per porosità, per fratturazione e per carsismo (ovvero quelle solubili all’azione dell’acqua, essenzialmente calcari e gessi).In base alle caratteristiche geoidrologiche, le varie formazioni sono state raggruppate in Serie Idrogeologiche che possono essere suddivise in uno o più Complessi Idrogeologici.L’assetto regionale è stato quindi ricostruito individuando sei Serie Idrogeologiche, differenziate per ambiente deposizionale e per età.
