View service (WMS) of Statistical Sectioning of Spain
View service (WMS) that contains the annual series of the section corresponding to the Electoral Census (EC) and Municipal Register of Inhabitants (PA). The sectioning of the 2001 and 2011 Population and Housing Censuses (CPV) is added on the official date of collection, 1 November. The elements of each series are two: only Districts and, within them, Sections. The territorial delimitation of the Census Sections establishes the scope of this statistical unit below the municipality, which is the basis for most of the statistical operations of the National Statistical System: censuses, registers, surveys and other statistical operations. Every municipality is divided into one or more Census Sections and there is no part of the municipality that does not belong to a Census Section. The sections of a municipality are grouped into one or more Census Districts and every Section belongs to a Census District. The series starts from the year 2007, on 1 January for each year, also including census dates, such as 1 November for the years 2001 and 2011. Minimum scale of visibility: 1:1.000.000 for District and 1:250.000 for Census Section. Access or connection to this service to obtain the functionalities for which it is intended is free, as long as the authorship of the INE is mentioned as the owner of the service and of its content (which may be stored for private use) in the following way: "Section ceded by the National Statistics Institute".
