API Features Service for Digitalized Mapping of Census Sections - National Statistics Institute

API para la descarga de los datos disponibles son las series anuales del seccionado correspondientes al Censo Electoral (CE) y Padrón Municipal de Habitantes (PA) desde el 2007 hasta la actualidad y el seccionado de los Censos de Población y Viviendas 2001 y 2011 (CPV) a fecha oficial de su recogida, 1 de noviembre. Los objetos geográficos de cada serie son dos: únicamente Distritos y, dentro de los mismos, Secciones. La delimitación territorial de las Secciones Censales establece el ámbito de esta unidad estadística inferior al municipio que es la base de la mayoría de las operaciones estadísticas del Sistema Estadístico Nacional: censos, padrones, encuestas y otras operaciones estadísticas. Todo municipio se divide en una o más Secciones Censales y no hay ninguna parte del municipio que no pertenezca a una Sección Censal. Las secciones de un municipio se agrupan en uno o más Distritos Censales y toda Sección pertenece a un Distrito Censal. La serie arranca a partir del año 2007, a 1 de enero para cada año, incluyendo además las fechas censales, como el 1 noviembre para los años 2001 y 2011. El acceso o conexión a este servicio para obtener las funcionalidades para las que está pensado es gratuito siempre que se mencione la autoría del INE como propietario del servicio y de su contenido (que puede almacenarse para uso particular) del siguiente modo: «Seccionado cedido por el Instituto Nacional de Estadística»

API Feature API for downloading annual series data of the Electoral Census (EC) and Municipal Register of Inhabitants (PA) from 2007 to the present, and the section of the 2001 and 2011 Population and Housing Censuses (CPV) as of the official date of collection, November 1.

There are two geographic objects in each series: Districts only, and within them, Sections. The territorial delimitation of the Census Sections establishes the scope of this statistical unit, which is sub-municipal, and is the basis for most statistical operations of the National Statistical System: censuses, registers, surveys, and other statistical operations. Every municipality is divided into one or more Census Sections, and there is no part of a municipality that does not belong to a Census Section. The sections of a municipality are grouped into one or more Census Districts, and every Section belongs to a Census District. The series starts from 2007, on January 1st for each year, also including census dates, such as November 1st for the years 2001 and 2011. Access or connection to this service to obtain the functionalities for which it is designed is free as long as the authorship of the INE is mentioned as the owner of the service and its content (which may be stored for personal use) as follows: "Sections provided by the National Institute of Statistics"
