Hydrography of the National Cartographic System ( http://www.scne.es/) whose geographic objects come from the Hydrography Reference Geographic Information (RGI Hydrography) version 0 of 2019 of the National Geographic Institute and the Ministry for Ecological Transition through the Directorate General for Water. This resource is intended for all types of users (companies, administrations, etc.), for all types of applications and on all types of platforms (vector, raster, object-oriented systems, etc.). The main applications are: hydrographic network and cartography Available in GML files through the WFS download service and in shapefile format in the CNIG Download Centre. The layers are available through a WMS and the geographic objects of the hydrography are downloaded through a WFS in order to obtain cartographic representation (Physical Water Model) and the spatial analysis of the water bodies, valid for the hydrological and geographic treatment (Network Model) of Annex I of the INSPIRE Directive. Los objetos hidrográficos proceden pricipalmente de la información geográfica relativa al tema de hidrografía de la Base Topográfica Nacional a escala 1:25.000 actualizada con Ortoimagen y Modelos Digitales del Terreno del PNOA. Esta información incorpora la codificación de ríos a partir de la clasificaciñon de ríos Pfafstetter realizada por el CEDEX para DGA. Las Cuencas y Subcuencas Hidrográifcas que se incluyen proceden de la informacion de la Direccion de General del Agua (DGA) del Ministerio para la Transición Ecológica (MITECO), siendo las cuencas obtenidas de modelos digitales de 100x100 metros y las subcuencas de modelos digitales de 25x25 metros. Los datos de BTN25 son consistentes entre sí. Las cuencas y las subcuencas no son consistentes geométricamente con el resto de objetos de la base de datos al estar formados a diferente resolución.
