WMS spanish port service area
View service (WMS) of the port service areas include cartographic and alphanumeric information on the land service area and water zones I and II. The State-owned Spanish Port System includes 46 ports of general interest, managed by 28 Port Authorities, whose coordination and efficiency control corresponds to the government agency Puertos del Estado, a body answerable to the Ministry of Public Works that is responsible for implementing the government's port policy. The regulation of the structure and management of the state port system is based on Royal Legislative Decree 2/2011, of September 5, by which the Revised Text of the Law on State Ports and the Merchant Marine (TRLPEMM due to its Spanish initials) is approved.

El servciio permite la visualización y consulta de la información alfanumérica de las capas: área de paso (FairwayArea) que es la parte principal transitada de una vía navegable y el área portuaria (PortArea) que son los objetos espaciales superficiales que se usa para representar los límites físicos de todas las instalaciones que constituyen la zona terrestre de un puerto marítimo o interior. Las denominaciones y representación por defecto cumple los requisitos de la Especificación de Datos de Redes de Transporte de la Directiva INSPIRE.(Véase https://inspire.ec.europa.eu/id/document/tg/tn)
